Mark is currently retired from service with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where he last served at the rank of Commander, overseeing the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center Jail Ward and the Custody Command and Accountability Bureau. Prior to that at the rank of Captain he had been the commanding officer of the Custody Training Bureau, Inmate Reception Center, and the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

Barbara Phillips is currently an Inspector with the Los Angeles County Office of the Inspector General. She performs audits and investigations. Previously, she was a Senior Investigator at an Investigative Firm specializing in Sexual Harassment and Discrimination claims.

Brian is a thirty- year retired corrections professional from Virginia. He began his career with the Virginia Department of Corrections and later progressed to two Virginia Regional Jails as a member of the Command Staff. He has served in numerous roles throughout his career to include being a PREA Coordinator and working with diverse populations. Brian completed his master's degree in criminal justice in 2016, and a bachelor's degree in occupational training and management in 2013. He has been the owner/operator for MYSIX PREA Consulting, LLC, and served as a certified PREA Auditor since 2018. Brian has successfully completed over fifty PREA audits across the nation and worked as a contractor with the Corrections Consulting Services, LLC since 2019. Brian continues to strive toward working with facilities as a non-biased and professional auditor for multiple states and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
