Alex currently serves as the Director of the Colorado Division of Youth Services.
He previously served as the leader of the PREA Management Office within the Bureau of Justice Assistance at the United States Department of Justice. In this role, he oversaw a team focused on improving correctional conditions of confinement, behavioral health treatment, reentry services, PREA training and technical assistance, compliance monitoring, and the training and certification of federal PREA auditors.
Previously, he was the statewide PREA Coordinator for the Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS), where he oversaw PREA implementation at the state's juvenile correctional facilities and community correctional facilities. Other roles he held while at ODYS include facility social worker, PREA Compliance Manager, and the statewide juvenile detention centers program manager. Alex graduated Summa Cum Laude in Social Work and holds his social work and chemical dependency licensure in Ohio.

Jerri is currently the PREA Coordinator for the Colorado Department of Corrections. Prior to that she was the Office of the Inspector General Victim Rights Coordinator with the Colorado Department of Corrections in the PREA unit. In that position she also served as an internal auditor for all Colorado Department of Corrections facilities as well as contracted facilities such as private prisons and jails. Prior to that, she was a victim advocate with the District Attorney’s Office. She also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in forensics.

Jacy is currently the statewide Director of PREA and Assistant Agency-Wide PREA Coordinator for the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and has been with the department since August of 2007. Prior to her current position, she was an Assistant Deputy Superintendent for PREA in multiple correctional facilities. Her experience includes having worked with individuals with substance abuse and sexual offending behavioral issues providing therapy. Her highest level of education is a Masters in Forensic Psychology and has been an Adjunct Instructor teaching Forensic Psychology since 2011.
