Alex currently serves as the Supervisory Senior Policy Advisor (Manager) of the PREA Management Office within the Bureau of Justice Assistance at the United States Department of Justice.

Previously, he was the statewide PREA Coordinator for the Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS), where he oversaw PREA implementation at the state's juvenile correctional facilities and community correctional facilities. Other roles he held while at ODYS include facility social worker, PREA Compliance Manager, and the statewide juvenile detention centers program manager. Alex graduated Summa Cum Laude in Social Work and holds his social work and chemical dependency licensure in Ohio.

Due to his role at the United States Department of Justice, Alex is not currently conducing PREA audits.

Megan is currently employed by the Broomfield Police Department. Previously, she worked for the Denver Sheriff Department for thirteen years, four of those as a PREA Compliance Manager. During her time with Denver, she assisted with the opening of two facilities and assisted the department in preparation for Triple Crown Accreditation.
