Denisha is currently an Assistant Commissioner for the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYS DOCCS); she also holds her NYS Clinical Licensure in Social Work. Denisha has worked within the Criminal Justice System with Adolescent and Adult populations for over 20 years. During her career, she has served several roles within the Mental Health, Administrative and Quality Improvement areas. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Correctional Association (ACA), Corrections and Youth Services Association (CAYSA), Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), and is Internationally Certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Denisha obtained her Graduate Degree in Social Work from Fordham University.
Cassandra is currently employed with the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department as the Deputy Director. She is a 32 year veteran with a vast array of experience in operations and administration in a large correctional agency. She has an associate in arts degree in public administration, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, and a master of business administration degree from Nova Southeastern University. Cassandra is also a certified jail manager.
