PREA Compliance Managers are responsible for day-to-day functions related to PREA implementation and response in their facilities. PREA Standard 115.11 states that when an agency operates more than one facility, each facility shall designate a PREA Compliance Manager with sufficient time and authority to coordinate the facility's efforts to comply with the PREA standards.
With the support of Just Detention International, the PRC has produced a PREA Compliance Manager Orientation Guide to support these critical staff members. This resource is a helpful tool for both those new to the field and more seasoned PREA Compliance Managers.
