This webinar will cover how to create education programs for residents in juvenile facilities. The session, which is being presented jointly by Just Detention International (JDI) and the PREA Resource Center, will focus on developing age-appropriate programs that are compliant with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards.

The session will feature talks by juvenile corrections officials and experts with experience in building successful education programs for youth. The speakers give first-hand accounts of working in youth facilities, focusing on the role of resident education in maintaining safe facilities and its positive impact on institutional culture. There will be a question-and-answer session at the end of the training.
