During this webinar, we will cover PREA Standard 115.61 Staff and agency reporting duties. The purpose of this standard is to establish a strong, effective reporting culture among staff and ensure that the agency and facility receive timely information about sexual abuse, sexual harassment, retaliation, and staff neglect or violations of responsibilities that may have contributed to an incident or retaliation. Additionally, this standard helps build confidence and trust in the reporting system and helps minimize a victim’s fear of reporting and possible retaliation.
