Making PREA and Victim Services Accessible for People With Disabilities

The Vera Institute of Justice, in collaboration with the National PREA Resource Center, presents a webinar to introduce a new resource on how to make PREA information and victim services accessible for incarcerated adults and juveniles with disabilities. Presenters will discuss the PREA requirements, provide foundational information on disabilities, and walk participants through a new implementation guide that provides practical, low-cost strategies for adult and juvenile facilities on how to increase accessibility to PREA information and victim services.

This webinar is recommended to staff from state departments of corrections, jails, juvenile agencies, community corrections agencies, and lockups. ADA Compliance Managers, PREA Coordinators, and PREA Compliance Managers are encouraged to attend.
