Guidelines for Screening for Risk of Sexual Victimization and for Abusiveness

To help agencies achieve compliance with the National PREA Standards, the Vera Institute of Justice, in conjunction with the National PREA Resource Center (PRC), has developed a set of guidelines to screen for risk of sexual victimization and for abusiveness, including questions to be asked of inmates, residents, and detainees, and the best use of the information from the screening to inform housing decisions.
