Former Grand Forks correctional officer pleads not guilty to relationship with inmate, delivering contraband

A former Grand Forks County Correctional Center correctional officer was arraigned in court on Friday, Jan. 3. She pleaded not guilty to delivery of a controlled substance, a cellphone and tobacco to an inmate as well as a charge of sexual abuse of wards.

If convicted, Savannah M. Martin could face a maximum 20-year prison sentence. A final dispositional conference is scheduled for March 12.

Martin is accused of having a sexual relationship with former GFCCC inmate Li'Von Bradford from August to November 2019.
