Descriptive and Predictive Characteristics of Perpetrators and Victims of Substantiated Prisoner on Prisoner Sexual Assault

This publication from Michigan State University contains robust empirical data analysis addressing sexual assault in the Michigan Department of Corrections. The purpose of the data collection and analysis was to identify characteristics and unique predictors of being a perpetrator or a victim of a sexual assault by another prisoner in a Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) facility.  Victims and perpetrators were identified from available records of the outcomes of Misconduct Hearings between the beginning of 1998 and the end of 2006.
