Correctional officer arrested in sexual assault of inmate

A state correctional officer was in the Racine County Jail on Saturday accused of sexually assaulting an inmate at a women's prison in the Town of Dover.

According to the Sheriff's Office, James Faulkner of Milwaukee was arrested Friday and is being held on a $177,500 bond. He faces three counts of second-degree sexual assault and other charges, including misconduct in office and intimidating a witness through the use of force.
