Appeals Court Rules Against Omaha Inmate Who Was Sexually Assaulted By Guard

LINCOLN — A former Nebraska prison inmate who was sexually assaulted by a corrections officer in 2012 can’t pursue civil damages against prison officials who placed him in solitary confinement after he reported the rape.
