Allen County Juvenile Court awarded $21,000

LIMA — Allen County Juvenile Court has been awarded more than $21,000 in additional funding by the Ohio Department of Youth Services.

The funds will be used to upgrade, replace or purchase additional closed captioned television surveillance equipment at the Juvenile Detention Center to increase security and ensure compliance with mandates such as the Prison Rape Elimination Act.
