Patrick has recently retired after having spent over 30 years working in corrections. Most recently Patrick was the Chief of Corrections at the Lake County, Illinois Sheriff’s Office. Patrick has also served as the Sheriff of the City and County of Denver where he was tasked with the implementation of over 400 reform recommendations. Patrick has also taught criminal justice courses at a local college for over 11 years.
