Haley has over 15 years of experience at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and brings extensive expertise in security operations, monitoring, quality assurance, auditing, training, technical review, and PREA investigations. Throughout her career, she has served in diverse roles including Correctional Officer, Inmate Time Management Specialist, Fusion Center Program Specialist, and Training Specialist for the Safe Prisons/PREA Management Office. In 2019, Haley was promoted to Safe Prisons Program as the Inmate Victim Peer Education Coordinator, responsible for inmate and staff education on sexual safety in confinement settings and preparing all TDCJ-operated facilities for PREA standards.
Currently, Haley leads as Manager of the Safe Prisons/PREA Management Office, where she oversees initiatives that promote inmate safety and compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
Beyond TDCJ, Haley served nine years as 911 Telecommunications Supervisor for the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office, ensuring the safety of officers, first responders, and citizens during critical incidents.
