The application for the 2020 PREA Auditor Training will open in mid-October and will remain open for two months. The training will be held in late July of 2020 (pending availability of resources and DOJ conference approval). Please note this is the only auditor training scheduled for 2020. An announcement will go out on the day that the application opens.
PREA Auditor Training requires completion of 20 hours of remote work, a 40-hour classroom training, and a subsequent Field Training Program (FTP) training audit. The PREA Resource Center hosted a webinar to cover details about the application process. Prospective candidates will be required to either attend the live webinar or watch a recording of it in order to apply.
